The Inuit Art Foundation is a non-profit organization run by a volunteer board comprised of Inuit artists and art advocates from across Canada and relies on public and private support in order to support the development of Inuit art throughout the country. Generous individuals, foundations and corporations help the Foundation publish the Inuit Art Quarterly, financially support artist residency opportunities, provide professional development training and much more to Inuit artists across Inuit Nunangat.
The Inuit Art Foundation offers several ways to support our programming:
- The Annual Fund, which supports areas of greatest need within the organization;
- The Foundation’s Endowment, which supports the organization in perpetuity;
- The Publications Fund, which supports the Inuit Art Quarterly, the world’s only magazine dedicated to Inuit artists; and
- The Kenojuak Ashevak Memorial Fund, which supports a biannual residency opportunity for artists.
The Inuit Art Foundation is a registered charitable organization in Canada (#121033724 RR0001) and the United States (#980140282). All donors receive a charitable tax receipt, recognition on our website and our heartfelt gratitude.
