You made sure Inuit voices were present on the world stage!
Pirruvik: Circumpolar Shorts is a dynamic short film program of 42 works from across the circumpolar North that premiered at the Arctic Arts Summit in Whitehorse, YK this past June.
Curated by Jeremy Emerson and organized by the Inuit Art Foundation and Western Arctic Moving Pictures with support from Telefilm Canada, Pirruvik was featured at the Adäka Cultural Festival and the upcoming Yellowknife Film Festival.
Thanks to you, Indigenous voices and creativity are able to take centre stage at these major, international cultural events.
As a donor, you provide so many opportunities for artists to explore their practices, learn new skills and grow. You raise global awareness and appreciation for Inuit art. You help artists across Inuit Nunaat and beyond connect to opportunities, have platforms for their work to be seen and build their careers. Thank you so much for making a difference!
