Biography
Annie Petaulassie is a master seamstress retired teacher who taught for 33 years in Iqaluit, NU. Petaulassie led programmes for youth from across Canada on how to make sealskin slippers and mitts. She also works with sewing, beading and making handcrafts. She won a Nunavut-wide contest for making sealskin clothings. Petaulassie is passionate about passing on traditional knowledge to future generations.
