On the occasion of being shortlisted for the 2023 Kenojuak Ashevak Memorial Award, celebrated artist Billy Gauthier, from North West River, NL, sat down with Taqralik Partridge in July 2023 for a wide-ranging talk that encompassed the artist’s creative process and his take on Inuit-specific activism.
