Biography

Becky Qilavvaq (Kilabuk) is a visual artist and advocate originally from Panniqtuuq (Pangnirtung), NU, currently based in Iqaluit, NU. She is passionate about using art, film, music and photography to inspire and educate. Qilavvaq designs and delivers social as well as cultural leadership programs, and works in a variety of mediums, such as film, photography and textiles. Qilavvaq is also a talented throat singer and has performed at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, BC.View Long Biography and Citations
