Biography
Lucy Tulugarjuk is an actress, filmmaker, writer and throat singer. Originally from Iglulik, NU, she currently lives and works in Montreal, QC. She is well known for her starring role in the film Atanarjuat The Fast Runner (2001) as well as her work on Maïna (2001). Tulugarjuk made her directorial debut with the film Tia and Piujuq (2017), which she co-wrote as well as acted in. The film screened during the 2018 imagineNATIVE Film + Media Art Festival.
