Siassie Kenneally was graphic artist born in Iqalugajuk and later based in Kinngait (Cape Dorset), NU. Kenneally was raised on the land by her father Qaqaq Ashoona (1928-1996) and incorporated these experiences within her work. She composed finely detailed prints and drawings of landscapes, community activities, traditional foods and the many objects surrounding her. Kenneally’s works have been featured in several exhibitions throughout Canada and the United States and are currently held in the collections of the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, QC and the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa, ON.View Long Biography and Citations
