Biography

Tom McLeod is a Gwich’in and Inuvialuk artist from Aklavik, Inuvialuit Settlement Region, NT, who is known for his work with photography, podcasts, and multi-media installations. His first published work, the multilingual book Le Delta, c’est mon chez moi | The Delta Is My Home | Ehdiitat shanankat t'agoonch'uu | Uvanga Nunatarmuitmi aimayuaqtunga (2008), which he co-authored at the age of eleven. McLeod was featured in the exhibit Memory Keepers/Gardiens des mémoires at Nuit Blanche 2019 in Montreal, and co-curated between ice & earth (2019) at the Xpace Cultural Centre in Toronto.
