Inuit Futures

Want to connect with other Inuit artists from across Inuit Nunaat? Grab a snack and join us for an evening of online community networking!

Since its launch in January, more and more Inuit artists are joining the Developing Qanuqtuurniq: Artist Portal (DQAP) – a place to easily connect with others, find grants across Canada, and find professional development resources and opportunities.

The IAF invites Inuit artists working in any medium and at all stages of their career to join this growing community! Everyone attending will receive an IAF tote bag, and be entered into a raffle to win a subscription to the Inuit Art Quarterly magazine!

Schedule:

7:00 pm ET - Welcome from Alessandra Montefiore, Portal Coordinator

7:15 pm ET - Breakout rooms for sharing, connection and creative flow

8 to 8:30 pm ET - Closing Q&A and raffle winners announced!

The event will kick off with a short overview of DQAP and how you can get involved, before breaking out into small discussion groups. We’ll have some fun questions to get the conversation going, and you’re invited to share what you’re working on or dreaming about in your practice, whether it’s a creative project, learning a new skill, or something else!

**Please note: Because DQAP is only open to Inuit, this is a closed session for Inuit artists. We appreciate your understanding.
